License

The Mochicut app is free to use on both Mac and iPhone. Mochicut Pro is a one-time purchase on each platform, and the two purchases are separate: Mac Pro does not unlock the iOS app, and iOS Pro does not unlock the Mac app. What each Pro includes is shown inside each app before you buy.

• Mac: your license key unlocks Pro permanently, on up to 2 devices you own, for personal use. License keys may not be shared, resold, or published.
• iOS: Pro is tied to your Apple Account; there is no license key. Family Sharing and restores follow Apple's rules.

Refunds

Mac: you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing [email protected]. Refunds are processed through Polar.

iOS: purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's refund policy. We can't issue App Store refunds ourselves. Before buying, you can use every feature of the iOS app for free (the free version shows ads), so you can make sure it fits.

Ads (iOS)

The free iOS app shows ads served by Google AdMob before sending. Mochicut Pro on iOS removes them. Ad data handling is described in the privacy policy.

Your content

Mochicut processes your photos entirely on your device and never modifies or deletes your originals. We claim no rights over your content.

Updates

Bug fixes and improvements to the current version are included with your purchase. A future major version with substantial new features may be offered as a separate (discounted) paid upgrade. In either case, your current version continues to work.

Open source

Mochicut includes open-source components such as FFmpeg (LGPL), each governed by its own license. The full license texts are distributed with the app. Redistribution or resale of the app itself is not permitted.

Disclaimer of warranty

Mochicut is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app. The app does not modify your originals; nevertheless, we recommend keeping backups of important data.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update this page and the date above. Material changes will be announced in the app.
