The short version: your photos never leave your Mac. Mochicut has no accounts, no analytics, and no servers of ours. The only personal data we ever receive is the email you use at checkout, so we can send your license key.

Your photos

Everything Mochicut does (viewing, straightening, converting, sending to Photos) happens entirely on your Mac. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, collected, or seen by us. Ever.

What we do receive

When you buy: your email address and basic purchase details, collected by our payment partner Polar (the merchant of record). We use it to deliver your license key and to help you if something goes wrong. Polar's handling of payment data is covered by Polar's privacy policy. We never see your card number.
When the app checks your license: the app contacts Polar to validate your key, sending only the key and your device name (so you can manage your devices). No photos, no usage data.

The 14-day trial

The trial starts on your Mac, locally. No email, no sign-up, nothing sent anywhere.

mochicut.com uses no cookies and no analytics.

Children

Mochicut isn't directed at children under 14, and we don't knowingly collect their information. There's barely anything to collect in the first place.

Your choices

Want your purchase data deleted, or have any question? Email [email protected] and we'll take care of it.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date above. We don't expect it to get longer. Collecting less is the whole point. 💛

사진에 대해

Mochicut이 하는 모든 일(보기, 세우기, 변환, 사진 앱 전송)은 전부 사용자의 맥 안에서 이뤄져요. 사진과 영상은 업로드되지도, 수집되지도, 저희에게 보이지도 않아요. 절대로요.

저희가 받는 것

구매하실 때: 이메일 주소와 기본 구매 정보를 결제 파트너 Polar(판매자, Merchant of Record)가 수집해요. 라이선스 키를 보내드리고 문제가 생겼을 때 도와드리는 데에만 써요. 결제 정보 처리는 Polar의 개인정보 처리방침을 따르고, 저희는 카드번호를 볼 수 없어요.
앱이 라이선스를 확인할 때: 앱이 Polar에 키 유효성을 확인하는데, 이때 보내는 건 키와 기기 이름뿐이에요(기기 관리를 위해서). 사진도, 사용 데이터도 없어요.

14일 체험

체험은 맥 안에서 로컬로 시작돼요. 이메일도, 가입도, 어디로 전송되는 것도 없어요.

아동의 개인정보

Mochicut은 만 14세 미만을 대상으로 하지 않고, 아동의 정보를 수집하지 않아요. 애초에 수집하는 게 거의 없기도 하고요.
