Your photos

All of Mochicut's processing — viewing, orientation correction, conversion, and transfer to the Photos app — takes place entirely on your device, Mac or iPhone. Your photos and videos are never uploaded or collected, and we have no access to them.

The Mac app

• At purchase: your email address and basic purchase details are collected by our payment partner Polar (the merchant of record). This information is used solely to deliver your license key and to provide customer support. Payment data is handled under Polar's privacy policy; we never have access to your card number.
• At license validation: the app contacts Polar to validate your license key, transmitting only the key and your device name (used for device management). No photos or usage data are transmitted.

The iOS app

• Purchases: Mochicut Pro on iOS is bought through Apple's App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we receive no personal details from it.
• Ads: the free iOS app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the AdMob SDK collects device data such as advertising identifiers, IP address, and coarse ad-interaction data, handled under Google's privacy policy. If you allow tracking when iOS asks (the App Tracking Transparency prompt), ads may be personalized; if you decline, ads still show but are not personalized. In the European Economic Area and the UK, a consent form is shown before any ad. Your photos and videos are never part of ad serving.
• With Pro: the app makes no ad requests at all.

mochicut.com uses no cookies and no analytics tools.

Children

Mochicut is not directed at children under the age of 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
